PhotoNest

How it works

Seven steps. One pipeline. Folders named in your voice.

Every PhotoNest order runs the same seven-stage pipeline. Premium adds the questionnaire + bespoke naming pass.

Step 1

Upload

Drop a Google Drive folder link, a ZIP, or upload direct from your computer. Up to 30,000 photos in a single order — bigger libraries are handled as parallel batches at a bespoke quote.

Step 2

Vision pass

Every photo is tagged with what's in it (objects, landmarks, scenes, dominant colours) and read for its EXIF metadata (date taken, GPS, camera). This is the bedrock the later naming pass writes against.

Step 3

Face clustering

We detect every face and group them into people — so the same person across years and lighting conditions ends up in one cluster. You'll get to name them in the next step.

Step 4

Relationship-aware naming

Tell us who each face is AND what they ARE to you — Work Bestie, father-in-law, Mum, school friend. The relationships shape the final folder names. A trip with 'Best Friend Sarah' becomes 'Thailand with Best Friend', not 'Trip with Sarah'.

Step 5

Bespoke questionnaire

Premium only. We read the whole library and ask you 5–10 targeted questions about patterns we spotted — 'we see a name badge in 240 photos from Berlin 2018-2020, tell us about that'. Your answers feed the final naming pass.

Step 6

Naming pass

Folders are written in your register. 'Mission 2018-2020' instead of 'European Travel'. 'Dad's 60th' instead of 'March 2023 gathering'. Premium uses your questionnaire answers; Basic uses sensible generic naming.

Step 7

Delivery

A hosted library viewer, private share links you can send to family, and a ZIP download of the whole organised library. Everything stays in your account; nothing is sold or used to train AI models.
